Graham Best BDS (L'pool) - GDC No: 48387
Graham qualified from Liverpool University in 1974. After spending a year in Liverpool, he came back to Norfolk in 1976 and has remained here ever since, watching the practice grow from two surgeries to the present six surgery set-up.
For many years he has combined general family practice with a growing interest in orthodontics and a clinical attachment at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. He is now enjoying full-time orthodontic practice receiving referrals, from throughout the North Norfolk area.
Graham was born in Norwich, supports Norwich City Football Club and still tries to play cricket! He is married with two grown-up children, Liz and Robert.

Christelle Abeln BChD (Stell) - GDC No: 71557
Christelle graduated from Stellenbosch University, South Africa in 1993. After practising as an associate dentist in Port Elizabeth, she moved to Cape Town and spent six months as a part-time tutor at the Dental School of Stellenbosch University.
In 1996 she moved to England, practising in Fakenham as an associate before moving to Cromer in 1999, and becoming a partner of Corner House Dental Practice in 2002. Christelle enjoys being a general dental practitioner and is committed to keeping up-to-date by attending postgraduate courses.
Christelle enjoys travelling, reading, gardening and needlework in her spare time.

Emile Breytenbach BChD (Stell) - GDC No: 73497
Emile graduated from Stellenbosch University, South Africa in 1997. He then moved to the UK at the end of 1997 and practiced as an associate dentist in Sheringham for eight years. From there he joined a private practice in Kings Lynn where he worked for two years before leaving to work for the ADP Group. Emile joined Corner House in January 2009 and is now a partner in the practice.
Emile has a keen interest in furthering his postgraduate experience by attending as many courses as possible.
In his spare time Emile loves travelling, the outdoors, golf, skiing, running and watching sport on TV.

Kiran Arkala BDS BDS (Hyd), MFDS RCS (Eng), MSc (Advanced Dental Implantology) - GDC No: 73497

• Extensive training through MFDS RCS (Eng) and the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry programme at the Royal College of Surgeons of England
• Over 20 years of clinical experience in implants and complex restorative dentistry
Born and raised in Hyderabad, India, Dr Kiran Arkala qualified as a dentist in 2002 before moving to the UK, where he completed the International Qualifying Exam (IQE) and began practising in Oxford.
Kiran moved to Norfolk in 2006 to join Corner House Dental Practice in Cromer, where he is now a partner. Over the years, he has developed a strong reputation for his calm, caring approach and advanced clinical skills, particularly in implant and restorative dentistry.
Always committed to continuous learning, Kiran extensively trained through a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and went on to achieve an MSc in Advanced Dental Implantology in 2024. This advanced training allows him to manage even the most complex implant cases.
Kiran enjoys working closely with referring dentists and patients alike, believing strongly in a collaborative, patient-focused approach to care. His work is driven by a passion for helping patients restore their smiles and confidence through life-changing implant and restorative treatments.
Outside of dentistry, Kiran enjoys playing cricket and table tennis, and is an enthusiastic cook especially when preparing authentic curries for his family and friends. He lives in Norfolk with his wife and two children and loves exploring the beautiful coast and countryside.

Dr Manasa Arkala BDS - GDC No: 263454
Manasa qualified as a Dentist from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, India in 2010. She then moved to the UK after her graduation to pursue her career as a Dentist. She has completed her overseas registration exam (ORE) set by the General Dental council in 2018 and obtained full registration as a Dentist.Manasa joined the practice in June 2021.
Her interests in dentistry are restorative dentistry and periodontics. To ensure she provides her patients with the best possible treatments available, Manasa regularly updates her knowledge and skills through various courses including pursuing a post-graduation certificate in Restorative Dentistry at Prof. Paul Tipton’s training institute to update her with the latest developments in the field.
In her spare time, Manasa loves cooking, gardening & spending time with her 2 children.

Betzael Caceres-Moreno Lic Odont (Madrid) MSc Orthodontics (Warwick) - GDC No:179232
Betzael qualified as a Dental Surgeon at the University Complutense, Madrid in 2001. Since 2010 she has been working as a GDP in the Norfolk area. She developed an early passion for orthodontics that encouraged her to pursue her Orthodontic master’s degree at the University of Warwick in 2018. Since then, she has been providing braces to children and adults. She has also completed further training in Invisalign treatment and Clear Correct aligners, as well as having completed a Certificate in Skin Aging and Facial Aesthetic at the University of Manchester. Betzael enjoys and is focused on helping adults and children to feel confident with their smiles, making patients feel at ease which is central to decisions during their orthodontic treatment. She loves spending time with family, baking and loves going to the theatre.

Cedric Poole BDS, BTh, MSc Med, Diploma Aesthetic Injectable Treatments. GDC No: 274227
Cedric graduated from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1984. After completing military service, he opened his own private dental practice in Pietermaritzburg. In 2010 he entered a part time MSc Medicine at Wits and graduated in 2015 and then moved to Norwich, working at JG Plummers & Associates. Cedric is interested in all aspects of general dentistry, with special interests in restorative dentistry and root canal treatments. and is committed to keeping up to date by attending postgraduate courses. Cedric is also an ordained Methodist minister and intersperses missionary work and preaching in his activities. He enjoys walking, gardening and time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Our Hygienists / Therapists

Christine Golby EDH (Lond) - GDC No: 4330
Christine worked as a dental nurse for three years and qualified in dental nursing at evening classes. She then went on to study dental hygiene at Guy’s Hospital in London and qualified in 1992. Since then she has worked at a variety of practices in London, Hertfordshire and Essex.
Christine moved to the North Norfolk area in 2005, and joined Corner House in 2007.
She is enjoying the Norfolk life with her husband and daughter.

Alison Marks Dip Dental Hygiene - GDC No: 4673
Kings College London 1994
Alison qualified from Kings College London in 1994 and has worked in Norfolk ever since. She has a keen interest in the prevention of both dental disease and enamel erosion. Alison is married with two children and enjoys the Theatre and travelling in her spare time.

Sarah Powell B.Sc. Hons - GDC No: 192874
Sarah qualified in 2010 with a Bsc degree in dental hygiene and dental therapy. She has worked in a variety of dental settings in Brighton, London, Middlesbrough and Norfolk, Joining us here at corner house in 2017. She lives a busy, but balanced life with her career, husband and twin boys.

Lauran Moakes- FdSc Oral Health Science - GDC No: 273921
Lauran qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the University of Essex in 2024. During her training, she gained valuable experience working in multiple practices across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Colchester, where she provided high-quality oral hygiene care to a diverse range of patients. Prior to qualifying as a Dental Hygienist, Lauran worked as a dental nurse for 10 years from 2014, building a strong foundation in patient care and dental practice. A lifelong resident of Norfolk, Lauran enjoys exploring the beautiful local landscapes with her Dalmatian, spending quality time with family, and staying active. Her passion for preventative dental care and commitment to patient well-being are at the core of her approach, making her a trusted and compassionate professional in her field.
